Ford Madox Brown letters and picture post card, 1869-1887.

The collection consists of three items: letter to (Sidney) Colvin, 31 July 1869, graciously noting some existing biographical data and agreeing to supply further information about his life and work; letter to Miss Mozeley, 20 Sept. 1887, repeating his offer to rent her house, with details of the terms he is offering or would accept. Also, picture post card, undated, no. 121 published in London by the Medici Society, unused, with a full color image of Brown's painting, Christ washing St. Peter's feet.
